I am building a display box for my Honduran Rosewood collections of Chris Reeve knives. It is made from solid honduran rosewood with birds-eye-maple inlays on the corners. This still needs to be sanded, finished and glass installed but couldn't resist posting the WIP. If anyone interested I took pics along the way so show how it went together, but since this isn't a woodworking formum I did resist posting those. I'll post finished product when it is all done.

Very classy, I can't wait to see the final! Also, I wouldn't mind the WIP pics if you'd care to share them. You can email them to me if you don't want to post them :) I really love the lighter color inlays in the corners, it adds a lot of character.

Gorgeous. I have A William Henry display box that holds 12 knives, made of light wood, and yours looks as nice if not nicer.

Thanks for the kind words. Should be finished this weekend and housing the collection by next week.

Man, that is excellent work. That wood was a great choice - the grain on the lid is really interesting.

Thanks for the kind words. @Ernie1980, not taking orders but happy to post the WIP photos if anyone interested in making one for themselves.
