Well, it finally arrived..



My Honduran family is about to expand. A small damascus is on the way.

OK, I asked permission because I know some would get upset if pics of their incoming were posted by another. These were sent to me by BHQ taken by phone so they are not the best. It is a beautiful knife and was on my list to buy. I guess I will now have to wait longer. Enjoy it.

Thanks! If that is indeed the one I have coming, I will be happy. Then again, the BHQ Honuran Rosewoods are all special, I have looked at Honduran Rosewood samples in exotic wood stores, and most are rather plain compaired to what BHQ uses.

I really like the looks of the wood. The Honduran wood is really growing on me.

Lone Wolf: I don't know, perhaps it's my good looks, pleasing personality, brains, style, wealth or maybe my humility . Wish I had an answer for you but no company should ever send angry response when someone nicely requests a bit of extra customer service IMO. I really like BHQ and have bought several knives from them recently with very positive experience.

It wasn't an angry response, it was a dismissive one. It was the owner who said something rude to me. Like I said in PM, their loss.

Lol.....In some way I wish I was, because I know it would be meant for you. But alas, I have not even seen one for sale in years. I have seen the 21 version, but not the regular. A 21, they would make you one up now, but finding a large regular one, thats a grail for sure. If I see one, I will be sure to let you know...!!!

BHQ has always been good to me on each of the CRK's I have purchased from them. However my requests for photos of the knives I am interested in buying have brought the same results as Lone_Wolfe, which I find disappointing.
I am glad that you were able to obtain photos, and quite good ones at that, of not only one but several knives.
The inlaid knives each being unique individuals, photos are not only helpful but necessary to see just what one is getting.
This Small Sebenza appears to have been a very attractive choice. Congratulations! :thumbup:
