Well I got hold of some full grain leather last week and I thought I would make a sheath for my Spyderco Endura as they dont ship with one.

What do you guys thing to my first attempt at leatherwork? Its kind of a quick draw sheath to wear in the middle of your back, the leather is formed over the knife to grip it and theres some tool work outlining the knife in the leather...I hope the picture is ok

Maybe you could send it to someone to host. I'd do it for you, but I'm leaving shortly, and won't be back for a day or two...

it should all show up ok now on the above URL, it was my fault i made a mess of the file upload...

sorry for any inconvenience :footinmou

I have no idea why the image doesnt show in the first post its on the web server :grumpy:

Thanks! I left the clip on so I could carry it clipped to my pocket rather than in the sheath without fiddling around re attaching it but yeah theres no reason to leave the clip on there other than that.

fantastic idea! Canting the knife probably makes it way easier to grab when the knife is riding SOB, or thereabouts. Keep up the good work! Now ya gotta try an Endura/flashlight combo sheath :)

Looks good M8. How about trying one that is a horizontal carry? Held in 'situ' by friction.
