this seller originally put this item up with "serial no. 00969". i wrote them and pointed out the serial number was 96900 since it did not have the "bird's head" top. apparently he is very honest and changed the serial number to the correct number. nice to see someone be so honest.
plus nice to see these being sold. i like this knife since it is perfect for heavy trimming in the back yard.
