Sunday Honey got a coon ,Monday a squirrel & that night she finished a very large alley cat. Tuesday when I collected the cat carcass I discovered all the wiring under my Sierra was on the ground. Imagine the violent struggle that took place under in close quarters under the truck.

Heck,I couldn't break one of those wires by pulling on it. A wiring specialist is repairing the mess as I write. My back-up tv camera should be okay but my trailer lights hook-up will come from the dealer.

I took Honey to the scene & said FOOEY & poor girl hung her head & walked away.

Uncle Alan a country lad..... :)

So, is she a coonhound?

No coondog bloodlines evident

Her dominant genes are Rhodesian Ridgeback,a breed to run in a pack, chase lions down & worry it until it collapses. When Honey is barking defensively or on the attack her hair stands stiffly up from tail to front shoulders. Affectionate and protective.

Uncle Alan proud dog owner....:)

Good to see you got out of that poltergeist house Alan, and on to better things. Keep that dog huntin' it is pure nature at work.

I took care of a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Tarra, for a year while her owners were out of the country. What a nice dog. She had such good personality. They can be very affectionate.
