Holy smokes, I've been watching 0560s hit the BST forums one after another. I've thought about picking one up until I remember how heavy they are for my particular EDC tastes. I want a "mini" version.....

So is the frenzy over? People just moving along in the hobby? Doesn't seem like profit fever as many are priced below cost. If I were still in the Corps, I'd have one in my gear for sure.

I bought one off the forum. Then I immediately bought a second from a dealer. I think they are that good. It has the strongest lockup of any knife I've ever seen.

Do NOT get deterred by the fact that it's a "large folder". I am an absolute hater of large/heavy folders but this is my favorite knife right now. It's really light, and really thin so even though it's long it feels very small. I barely feel it in my pocket and it feels just right in my hand. Give it a try if you can find one for a good deal, you won't be disappointed.

Mighty tempting. What I don't see are a lot of 61s. Were there fewer made or are folks hanging onto the coyote browns? Any word on dealers replenishing inventory?

I just picked one up off the forum and it arrived on Monday. In my limited experience with it I can say with confidence that it is my favorite knife that I have owned thus far. I definitely think its worth a look if you haven't handled one yet.

bladehq has had them in stock for two consecutive days now, I snagged one of them yesterday. I too would have preferred a 0561 but at this point I just wanted one.

I have handled one at Blade Show. It feels very good in hand, the one I held also had a great lock up. I might pick one up, I'm trying to decide if I should get a 0560 or an smf (I know completely different knives). But the 0560 definitely has a lot going for it.

I have both a 560 and a 561, and as far as bang for the buck goes they can't be beat. I also own a few Hinderers and CRK's etc. These ZT's are at just about the perfect price point, and size for me.

Hey gunny just wanted to say I love the profile picture, oorah and semper fidelis. By the way I have been warming up to the idea of buying one of the 05' s. They are growing on me and I love big folders

I was wondering the same thing after seeing a bunch in the exchange. But it looks like most people aren't dumping them because of dislike, more to free up funds. I think a good sign is that they don't last very long in the exchange, kinda like a sprint run.

I just a 560 for Father's Day and I love it. I'm fairly new to knives so I don't have a lot to compare it to nor do I have any brand bias. I can truly say the 560 is one hell of a blade. I will have to agree with everyone else in saying that it is really light for the size and it carries very easily. I carry in my back right pocket with my wallet and I don't even notice its there.

Ive been dying to get one of these blades.

I also hate larger EDC blades the para 2 is pretty much my max, but I'm gonna make a exemption for this one!

People said the same thing about the Umnumzaan. It's just not for some people and they don't like having the money tied up in a knife they won't use, in my opinion. I like mine, but it is a bigger knife than what I'm used to.

There are big knives that I look at and could NOT think of what I could possibly use it for. A good example would be a benchmade onslaught full sized. That thing is just ridiculous, I could barely cut a box open with it.

The thing about the zt056x is that even though it's big, the ergonomics enables you to position your hand so that you could do pretty much anything with it that a small knife could do. What would really make it even better is if it had a choil like the XM's do.

I experienced the same thing with the 0200. Everyone complains that it's a brick, but I never actually feel it in my pocket. I'm skinny and 130 pounds. :)

That 0200 is just a tad shy of 1/2 pound. That's a couple Para 2s, a thumbdrive, chapstick and 75 cents!

I traded mine off. Just couldnt warm up to it. I am finding over and over that I prefer knives with thin flat ground blades. So I have traded for and purchased several Spydercos the past couple months. They work much better for my needs.
