Honing Oil.

I just ran out of the Honing oil that came with my KME system and I remember when I ordered it from Ron he told me when I run out I could just use Mineral oil.

So I went out and got some from the DrugStore and when I got it home I seen that it say's it's Heavy Mineral Oil is this going to matter,I would say it is thicker than Vegatable Oil not a lot but it is thicker.

It won't matter at all, I acually prefer the thicker oils (they don't drip off the stone as much) btw welcome to blade forums!

hell, i just use the Remsoil and brownell oil that i use for my rifles & pistols, both work extremely well
 
Thanks for the help,I wasn't sure with it being a Heavier oil if it would gum up the stones or do something strange.
