I see the next run of the Ron Hood Hoodlum is going to be made by Buck instead of TOPS. Anyone heard anything else about it?

If you do a search the announcement is out there. However, it's on tac life forum and I didn't want to post another forum site and get a warning.

Google Ron Hood Hoodlum and it will come up.

Seems like great news for Buck to have another well known designer on board.

Here is a pic of the knife and a posting from this forum:

Hey David. Over here there is a group of knife nuts that are lead by
Ron Hood the guy make's cd's and survival stuff.I think they have a special
knife made up for they every year.Different manufactures have made it for them.
It's usually a big fixed blade .Like a chopper.

I think thats close.:D

I like what I see with a quick look!

Buck should be able to bring it in at a good price point and be a great user. Plus, will open up some new doors to Buck which I think is always good!

One of my very close co-workers was named Ron Hood. He died in a motorcycle accident in Kentucky last year. He was riding down to Florida with his girlfriend. It's believed that he fell asleep and drifted into the rumble strips. It's creepy to see the name.
