Hello All,
Im am eagerly looking for someone to produce hoof knives for me. I have 3 designs in mind to start with. I have the handles being drawn in CAD as I write this. I really know nothing about you verbage, but in the farrier (horseshoer) world, one of the type of hoof knives is called a drop blade. I wish to produce one, and 2 sizes of loop knives. They need to take a beating naturally as they will be worked quite hard of horses hooves. They must be priced to compete in this market. I wish to launch this new line of tools at Equitana, Melbourne Austrialia in November and then in at Olympia, the London International Horse Show, December.
My knowledge of steel in nill and I will pretend to know nothing, but I do know whats good when I use it. Im looking forward to an education in this project. Thanks in advanced. There are other metal projects I have in mind but this will be a nice start. Looking forward to getting this project rolling, lets do some business!
