AAAAAHHH!!! Hooflex is a brand !!!

Here I went, trundling into Tractor Supply, and asking them for some Hooflex, and they smile and reply "What kind do you want?" Kind? Apparently, this was like walking into a Circuit City and saying I wanted a Sony---without being specific as to TV, cd/dvd player, speakers, etc. So, what KIND of Hooflex, do I want, dear friends? I guess there's disease prevention, conditioner, new car scent...

My poor horn handles need some love. :)

The stuff for.. umm hooves.

Mine's Veterinary Hoof Condtioner. It smells like umm. ugh. You get used to it though.

It's in a 800 gram tub. Good for whatever ails you. :D

I got the same question at the feed and tack shop: apparently there's now a liquid and then the "original-style" goop. I got the goop in a tub.:)

Warren, I can get a tub and send it to you. Send me your mailing address via email.

Ben,
Posted before I saw yours...e-mail sent. :) (or it will be in about 30 seconds).

"Good for whatever ails you..."
Um, Bruise...you know you're not supposed to ingest it, right?

:D

Well.. it doesn't have the skull and crossbones label on it. Therefore it's at least good for use as a dipping sauce in small quantities.

I'll get it when I get home tonight. I can't access my home email from this server. We'll take care of it.

You know, I remember my grandfather trimming the horse hooves and giving the clippings to his dogs to chew. They loved them. I wonder how long Hooflex has been around...

:D On every 5 lb. can of GAA (that's Grease, Automotive and Artillery), there's a clearly printed warning in bold letters: "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION". Don't know about y'all, but I sure wouldn't be tempted to deep fry french fries in something marked Grease, Automotive and Artillery. ;)

Sarge,
I'm sure that you know that most "Cannon Cockers" and "Tread Heads" need things spelled out for them to keep them out of trouble :D .
By the way I've been meaning to ask...where are you at Ft. Hood. I was stationed there about 12 yrs back. I was assigned to 504 M.I. over in west Ft. Hood. My unit was the 15th M.I. Aerial Exploitation. The Army did away with the "Mohawks" just before I left, so I don't know if the unit is even around anymore.
