My Becker BK-10 LE came today and is is so cool!!!
It's marked on the packing slip as Promo but they referred to it as a BK-10 LE when I ordered it if I recall correctly.
The blade appears to be about 1/4" longer than the BK-2 if I measured it right and of course it does not have the black finish.
It came with the Micarta handles which I think are Natural Canvas and the Green Camillus sheath which is labeled as Made in China,
Seems like a decent sheath though I may pick up a Spec Ops sheath since this will be my new Belt Knife.
It came with this funny little plastic blue thing that I identified as a whistle, One of the ones with a little fan blade inside that spins when you blow into it causing the siren like whistle sound. I thought, Oh, That's pretty cool, Wonder why they sent that? And I noticed a rattling sound in the handle of the Grivory original grips that were already on the BK-10, I thought maybe something was broken, I found when I took the Grivory Grips off to install the Micarta that there were 2 little bells inside, And I figured out pretty quickly that my new BK-10 LE came with all the Bells and Whistles!!! How awesome is that? Ka-Bar/Becker has a sweet sense of humor!!
Anyway, Here are the pics, I love this Becker BK-10!!!

Absolutely, I'm not a collector per say, I have quite a few knives but use most of them.
This will be my new Belt Knife for Camping, Hiking and Bushcraft.
What good is it sitting in a drawer, Right?

Congrats! You'll love that knife more and more as you use it.

Congratulations. I think this is the one knife missing from the current Becker lineup. I can't wait for Ka-Bar to re-introduce it as a standard offering. (Hint, hint)

Because of the unique provenance of this particular model - started by Camillus, finished by Ka-Bar - I consider mine to be a minor collectible.

There is nothing like opening a box and finding your very own BK-10 inside. :)

I love the way that light is coming off the blade. Looks magical.

Great snag, mon frere.

Thanks everyone!!
I really love the looks of the BK-10, I've always like clip point style blades and although black blades are infinitely cool, There is just something about a shiny blade!!

I'm glad to hear you say that, I was just thinking that I hope everybody doesn't mind the glare coming off of the blade from my camera flash.

glad people are snagging these :)

amost gone :>

Mine came today too. Since my first born son is due tomorrow, I have decided to put it in the safe and give it to him when he gets old enough. I dont have any pics yet, but it looks like a great knife. I had to lock it up right away so I didnt change my mind and start playing with it.

What a knife!
Is there any left at Kabar??
though I'm not sure I could drop 150 on it
Is it worth the money?

yup!

first thing in the morning, call KaBar directly (phone # on their web page), push 1, and ask. maybe :>

sure you can

if you have to ask... :)

It's worth the money for sure, Even if you didn't like Beckers.
The BK-2 will run you around $60 plus if you buy Wood or Micarta handles for the BK-2 you are up to $105, And if you buy a Nylon/Cordura sheath for your BK-2 you are pretty much at the $150 plus $8 for shipping on the BK-10.
Well worth it!!!
