Hooray For Kershaw Customer Service!

I know there's no shortage of threads singing the praise of Kershaw CS, but here's another one anyway.

I have a K1000 that I disassembled for cleaning and while reassembling it I noticed I had lost one of the blade stop pins. I looked EVERYWHERE, GONE! I emailed CS to inquire about purchasing a new one since it wasn't a warranty issue and and got an email back saying they would replace it free of charge. You can't beat that! This is one thing that sets Kershaw apart from all the rest.

I've since found the pin so I never actually ended up filling out the parts request form. Now I look like a fool TWICE :o!
 
Anybody can make a knife, its KAI's customer service that keeps me confident and coming back for more.
 
I have to agree, Thomas has made me a lifetime customer, and have currently usurped my wallet for the year, and I figure for next year too. [sorry spyderco X.X - well minus the southard :p].
