I just one another Schrade Old Timer 80T on Ebay for 10 dollars! This is one of my favorite traditional knives.

That's what they call "stealing" it. I got lucky like that once on a stag Copperlock. I'm sure the seller lost a fair chunk of change on it, but he played by the rules and shipped it right out. He even put a little sticky note on the case box with a smiley face and "Enjoy!" on it. I kept it with the box.

Those 8OTs were staples during the 60s and 70s when I was growing up. You've got a good knife if it was taken care of and a great one if it is mint or near mint.

Enjoy!!

I'm getting addicted to the local state surplus store where they sell all sorts of stuff including tons of TSA confiscated knives & tools. Lots of SAKs, lots of waiter's corkscrews (who carries one of those around?) some junk, some good stuff but that goes fast. Today I paid a whole dollar for a Schrade 80T- lots of miles on it but cleaned right up with some 600 grit sandpaper and CLP in the joints. I think I'm going to like it.

I picked up an old 8OT USA made on vacation this year, great little knife. Price was good too, although not as good as your "steal" ;).
