Been wracking my brain about what we were going to give my brother in law for Christmas. I'd just about finished refurbing a hatchet, and was going to make a mask for it and give that to him. Then, found out that his birthday is this week. So, there's his birthday present. So, decided on a BK11 for him. He's an outdoorsy kind of guy, so I'm hoping he can use it. And, there's a hidden agenda - I have a 14 and want to see how the 11 stacks up. So, he gets a cool knife and I get to handle the 11 to see if I'll be picking one up in the future! In addition to all the other Beckers I covet...
 
I am sure he will. On the off chance he doesnt I can always trade him for the socks or sweater I always get from the in-laws:D
 
It's not a tie, sweater or a golf towel. Better yet, it's sharp, pointy, steel and opens beer bottles. :)

I'm sure he'll love it.
 
Bro in law loved the 11. Fun fact: what did I get from him and his wife? A toilet seat. I sh** you not (no pun intended). He gets a really cool knife, I get a toilet seat.

Oh well. I get a slot in heaven.

Does it have a built-in warmer? Does it give prostate exams?
 
It's got the no drop feature, if that counts for anything. Apparently my better half complained at some point about me dropping the toilet seat.
 
This sounds like it must be your wife's side of the family. They bought your wife a gift, and not you. Next year you should buy him some flowers or something. Or buy his kids a drum set or a violin!
 
I hope you told him you'd think about him every time you used it.
 
Yes, wife's side. Her sister's husband. always thought he was on my side, though. Lol. Well, I've got 12 months to plan the perfect gift. Thursday, I order MY BK2.
 
Toilet seat huh? That's a sh!tty gift. Well, next year if you want to give a cool knife to someone that your certain would appreciate it and NOT buy you a crapper seat. PM me and I will send you my address. Just because that's the kind of dude I am! :D
