Hope all in the states getting wacked by the storms are safe.

Our thoughts are with those who lost friends or family to the weather.....

Some nasty wind and bitter cold (I.E. negative temps) are hitting Alaska. Can only imagine what's going on down there and going to be heading their way in a few days.

No kidding!! .Why there is more white outside my house than at a Norwegian all male nudest camp    ! !!

Kind of blizzard like out there. They even let us go home from work early........and they NEVER do that!!

Global warming my $$4!!!

Here in Queensland they've been in a drought for the past few years. Even so, they've recorded one of the mildest temperature summers (our winter) they've seen in a long time. Coincidentally, they say that the El Nino they've had here for the past few years is now over as well.

All I hear from folks around the globe is how cold and nasty it has been lately.

I am starting to think that "An inconvenient truth" is anything but the truth. Considering how much brush and timber went up in smoke in the last 12 months, I don't think our industrial/commercial pollution is having THAT much impact one way or the other.

I think it is all politics as usual. At the end of the last ice age, the planet was warming up a lot faster than it is now. Nothing stays the same, except maybe the QC at Busse.

Hope all you Hog's are doing OK with this wild weather lately! ....your all in my prayers!

"An inconvenient truth"

Ya what was inconvenient was the truth ......the pretzel logic that makes Global Warming the biggest chicken little bunch of hype ever served up!! Try Sun cycles!! Try that they cannot forcast this afternoons weather this morning - never mind 20 years from now!

And if there is a thing called global warming - it has been really great so far........ ever since the ICE AGE!! :)

18 killed in Alabama today, 15 at a school, that they know of.
Storms coming into upper GA now. We are under a watch but no warning.
They think the worst may be over. Sure hope so.

Please say a prayer for the families of the lost ones in this tragedy today.

yep,,you are exactly right about that,

I have also read from some NASA scientists that they have discovered that the ice on Mars is also melting as a result of the solar activity increasing also.

yep,,that happened in Interprise Alabama,

I am up near the big Talladega Race track and we only got some rain and some wind from it,

My apologies for getting off topic:o !

Me and mine sending prayers out for all in need. Be safe and be well!

Oh yes, the weather, mother nature in general, is deadly. My point was that I think it is arrorgant for humans to think that they can have that much impact on what happens on this little orb. One rock and we are done for. There's just too many variables involved for us to try and simplify it into this causes this, or that causes that.

Having grown up in Tornado Alley, I get no kick outta them there big, dark and ugly clouds. In fact, it takes a lot for me not to lose my nerve during a thunderstorm, especially if I am outside. I don't need some hot air egocentric politician to tell me how rough the world is. I done been through it enough already to know.

Every time I hear about people getting creamed due to mother nature letting loose with one of her furies, I am grateful it wasn't me this time, and regretful that others' numbers came up. I know mine is in the hat too; that is humbling.

I'm a tad south of the big Talladega Race track. I only had to clear a few pines from area roads. We were lucky........this time.
