Last I read, October was the projected date for the release of the Zing.

What did I see on the calendar today? Yup, October.

After handling some of the custom examples that RJ made I'm quite eager to see how the production model came out. Past experience with Kershaw flippers says it should be great, but that doesn't entirely negate the fact that I really want to scratch the itch...if you know what I mean. :D

Hey juji!
Been a while since I've seen you post here. Hope all is good with you:thumbup:

Ummmm, about the knife....Things have been pretty hectic at kershaw. Lots of knives to deliver and only so much time.

We're looking at multiple versions of the Shallot, in CB Sandvik/ZDP-189 and CPM-110V and damascus, the OD-1, the Zings, the new random Leek with 14C28N stonewashed blade, damascus Scallions, all black RAM's and Shallots, not to mention the Packrat and others. It's been dizzying.

If I were you, which I'm not, but just stay with me...I would be patient for just a bit longer, and then it's gonna be a FREAKIN' KERSHAW FLOOD!!!!

Soon, brother, soon.

Jon

Jon - I've been here regularly reading about all the good stuff you mentioned, just haven't been posting as much. I'm definitely anticipating the flood.

Thomas - thanks for the info. I'll be buying two for sure.

If I had more money, I would be buying a Zing as well. Looks to be a great knife.

Thomas any ideal on the MSRP of the Zings or is it to early to let that cat out of the bag? Sorry to be such a pain about this knife but, I am really looking forward to this one.:D

I'm pretty excited about this blade, and I've somehow managed to suppress my knife acquisition syndrome for quite a while now. My 2 favorite knives are the Groove and the Leek, and the Zing looks like an excellent cross between the two (Leek size, RJ Martin design).
