Greetings my fellow knife fans

As you can clearly see am posting my very first time here so please be gentle & help

I like many enjoy a variety of knives and occasionally acquire a few that catch my eye. No I am not selling or pricing ( see i read ahead) However, I am unable to from time to time unable to find a name for a knife or blade of some sort I also like to show them off. Perhaps this system allows me to share it with this new group of like minded friends. If this is not correct please let me know as I did try to read through and is seems I did follow the rules . Its a bit heavy for its about 8" overall length, its non magnetic, its kind of like several styles and uses but after a lot of reviewing and using it doesn't exactly fit exactly to anything with no other similar pics found or name to put to it. its like a spread out v shape and edge on the inside like a hawkbill blade with a tear drop handle but no hole to be a karambit.
The links are facebook if they work.

Cheers,

Welcome to the forums! Hopefully someone can guide you on how to post pictures. In the mean time, I'll post these images for you:

Looks homemade, maybe out of a cheap stainless steel meat cleaver since it's non magnetic.
The handle and overall size reminds me of an imperial model 422.

It's a bit more Karambit looking though, we'll never know what the person who made it was thinking.

I have looked at many options but the blade edge profile seems to show its not been ground down and its specific hawkbill seems to lend it to specific uses but that it has no guard and the only way to hold safer was to add a loop lanyard that fits it better in my hand.
Its a head scratcher to be certain. The non magnetic properties but rather hard metal material (sharpening took a longer - not just from the angle) so it might point to a use in harsher areas perhaps. It was made somewhere for some reason but so far no one has any other knives.
