Hoping I don't make the same silly mistake of selling any

Since I'm new to Busse collecting I am happy that I still have all the knives I purchased....(well two are in route)...I'll have a total of 5.

I am hoping I don't sell any to upgrade to something else.

I always make the mistake of selling off my good stuff. Don't want to make that mistake with my Busse and kin.

For those of you that are able to hold onto knives you've purchased, how do you do it? I'm here to learn.

I have only sold a couple of the pieces that I have gathered over the last year and a half. I find the easiest way to not sell one you'll regret, is to only sell doubles

Short of a Limitless source of income.......

The way I deal with the "thinning" process, take them all out.....set users to the side. Those are more valuable than safe queens. Then select which would be most difficult to replace, set those aside. From what is left, which would sell fastest and yield most return.

Don't dwell on what you "had" focus on the next grail.

In all honesty I would hold on to what you have and buy what you want when you can afford it, then you do not have to sell anything

I sold almost all my Busse knives years ago. I kept my SH-E and Mean Street. I came to the conclusion that knives are for using and if it sits on the shelf looking pretty, it can sit on someone else's shelf. That's just me, though.

Well so far I've managed to hold onto every Busse that I've purchased. I've traded one Swamp Rat but that was to obtain yet another piece of Infi. I gave a couple as gifts but I've yet to sell one.
Last count I was well over 130 pieces. But I'm single with no kids, and a I have a decent job so I get to buy what I want.
