Howdy Traditional folks.

A while back I was visiting the Knife Pound. Where unwanted knives go to look for new owners.

Suddenly there it was. This poor lonely Kephart. All by itself.
So I filled out the required paperwork and soon enough Horace was at home with me where he belongs.

He was a little skittish at first. But he seems to be settling in nicely.

We have already taken some long walks in the woods together. He seems to like it here in the Adirondacks. And I enjoy having him around.

We have been doing a lot of fun stuff together. Horace is a very cool knife, and he learns things really fast.

I think we are going to have a good time together.

Horace has a really nice leather leash (so to speak), and a beautiful... handle. Okay, I'm going to give up on extending the metaphor there. Beautiful knife, though. Forgive my ignorance of fixed blades, who's the maker?

Horace is from Lucas Forge.

He arrived well suited for outdoor life. With a matching fire steel and Arkansas Stone in the pouch.
