This is a knife inspired by the Kephart design. He was an avid outdoorsman much like Nessmuk. This one is O1 steel, an 1/8" thick 4 3/4" blade, 4 1/2" handle with 200 year old curly maple scales. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I love the simplicity. Nothing but what is needed to get the job done. What kind of blade finish is that? I think the photos may be throwing me off a bit.

It looks dark from my shadow. It's a fine scotchbrite/satin finish on a full convex grind.

LMFAO :D It came from a native Maryland maple tree that was 200 years old. Hondo, this knife is on it's way to the new owner or I would post a few more pics.
