Do any of you like to use the horizontal carry methods with your small fixed blades or neck knives? Please describe your experiences with this. Would you recommend this as a good carry method? Please keep in my that I'm referring to carrying a knife outside-the-waistband in an appendix carry position. If I decide to carry in this manner, where can I find a sheath that will allow me to do so?

TTAWR!

I tried it before and its not too bad. You can get a kydex sheath with teclock and it will work good as long as the knife locks up good and tight in the sheath.

I think the only way small fixies would work well horizontally is with a custom leather sheath for said blade. The whole tek lok thing is just too cumbersome IMO, if I am carrying a small fixed blade I want a sleek package

I carry my RC4 horizontal accross the back, and my RMD the same in a sheath I made myself. I plan to make or purchase a sheath to carry my F1 the same way.

It is a very comfortable carry method which keeps the knife out of the way especialy when sitting in a vehicle etc. It also allows the knife to be carried on the left side front for a cross draw with the right hand. Again a very easy method of carry.
