Sigh....so. I like carrying multi tool. I work in a hospital and can get quite hot, so some of my needs are based on that. I used to carry a wave or a side kick on a pocket clip, loved it but they began to corrode, and I cant stand the way the normal sheaths stuck up above the belt line poking me. I have been carrying my skeletool cx and it does ok but it likes to slide out of my pocket at random intervals due the poor construction of scrub pants (another upgrading quest I am on). Rather than spend a hundred or more bucks on a charge that hopefully wont corrode, I was thinking of getting a horizontal sheath for my leatherman. Some decent offerings are out there but I saw a post from 2007 where a guy recommended Raine pouches and said that they had a horizontal sheath that held wave, shears, pen and maglite. Looking at the produxt discription and photos, I cant tell if it would fit a wave or not. Does anyone have any experience with Raine paramedic pouches?

I too work in a hospital, specifically a state psych facility. I absolutely hate scrub pants. I personally went before the committee here & got it approved for staff to wear uniform pants. I.e. 5.11, lapolicegear operator, propper single color (no camo), and tru-spec 24-7's, all of which I personally owned prior to our switch from plainclothes to scrubs. The tru-spec are the best out of the aforementioned, and look the most like emt pants without the rediculous pricetag. If getting non-scrub pants approved in your facility is something you're interested in, buy 1 pair of the truspecs & take them before the committee. This'll be your best argument. Sorry for the hijack, but thought you might appreciate the info.
