horizontal disk sander/grinder

Do any of you folks know where I might
find a disk to make a horizontal disk
sander. Any iformation would be great
I saw Uncle Al's ($600 some thing) no
way! Some uncle he turned out to be

If the price is right I would buy a
complet unit.

John, It seems like I have seen aluminum discs for sale in The Sheffields catalog and one other maybe Koval. They seemed to be resonably priced at about $14.00 or so. I'm with you on the $600.00 deal. Maybe there is more to the expensive ones than meets the wallet. Good luck. baumr

John, Tru-Grit has a nice 9", 7/16" thick
aluminum disc for $55. I'm using two of them
one horizontal and one vertical. They work
very well.

I like the steel ones they act as a flywheel
