So i've currently carry two knifes- a native for utility, and I just received a timberline kelly worden tactical. i'd like to use the wortac for self defense.

I've been carrying the wortac on my right side front pocket, and the native IWB somewhere on the left.

i was wondering if there existed a sheath of some sort to carry the wortac horizontally on the belt. what prompted this train of thought was that i was playing around, and was able to get the native, folded, into my belt loop, where it held snuggly, was comfortable. the only problem was that I couldn't remove it easily. Also, the fact that the thumb stud on the wortac gets snagged on my pants when I try to draw it. (i'm used to an openning hole, a la spyderco.) what i'd like to do is get the wortac horizontally on the belt, and the native back in my right pocket.

any ideas?

Not familiar with the Wortac, but you should try Eric Normark at On Scene/Tactical, he makes some incredible kydex and concealex stuff. I've got a horizontal mount for my BM 710 which works great. Though I don't get to use it enough - kinda stands out amidst a suit.

Eric's website info escapes me, but do a forum search to find his contact info.

Go to LLBean.com and search for "horizonal sheath."
They cost $16 and the description says "wear your knife the way it’s most comfortable. High-quality leather. USA. Medium fits knife up to 4.75" long. Large fits knife up to 5.25"long x 1.5" wide.
For more, call LL Bean at (800) 441-5713.

Michaels Of Oregon (Uncle Mikes) makes a pretty good verticle/horizontal Cordura nylon sheath that should work pretty well for you.
