Horn or Rosewood on a Kukri? Advantages?

I've already bought a Kukri from McCurdy. Supposed to be pretty good.

Would you get a Horn or Rosewood Handle? Why? The rosewood looks a little better to me, but the photo is higher quality.

The Rosewood photo is of higher quality except the Idiot got an antenna in the frame. I still like the Rosewood...

Though the Horn is Very nice as well! My Son picked one up a short time after I got mine...

Horn is a little more prone to shrink and crack (less of a problem with a full-tang kuk) but many people seem to prefer the feel of horn. Wood is easier to reshape and refinish if you like to do that sort of thing.

I paid for the horn, but Mr. McCurdy will let me pick whichever I want. Think I'm gonna go with the rosewood. thanks guys.

Horn shrinks & cracks, depending on your local environment. I have three with horn handles, won't do it again.
