There is a 119 for sale on ebay that is so fake bad looking it's funny. It's actually worth a look for a laugh.
We can't post a link here but it's called Buck knife 119 with stag handles. How that site allows so much crap and escapes legal liability is amazing.

This one? It's correct, just customized and over polished/buffed.

Yes that one. Everything looks badly machined and the handle is fatter than the pommel. The spacers in the hilt seem uneven and the choil is very rough ground. But one reason I posted was for a second opinion. Thanks.

Sorta looks like someone put a 102 butt on the end. This needs to sell for $25 and then someone send it to one of the good Buck knife aftermarket craftsman, that show here, and put on a full length one piece antler scale with burl and dump the end.. 300Bucks

It looks like a first attempt and didn't take note on how the pieces should fit for the handle to have flow and look right. His 2nd and 3rd attempt
would look better. DM

I would hope so but "experience" doesn't always mean competence. Sometimes a person gets hired because they have 10 years of experience and then it's discovered they have 10 years experience making the same mistake over and over for 10 years.

It looks like he has done quite a few rehandles and all look pretty poor but if you look at his history they are not selling for that bad of a price.

He has been doing this for awhile and some have sold for the price of a factory stag knife or more. A matter of fact some for well over $200.

He also has 100% positive feedback and everyone has great comments about his knives.
