In the new issue of Blade, Kevin Jones wrote an article about the Horrigan Brothers and how John made a knife for Presidnet Bush. Excellent article and a true story about an American Hero.:thumbup::D:thumbup:

Thanks guys.
Last December John Horrigan sent me some photos of him presenting President George W Bush with a beautiful Bowie he had made in honor of his brother Robert and others killed fighting for our country.
This sparked my curiously and the more information I found on Robert the more I realized what an extraordinary man and true American hero he was.

We can’t give our servicemen and women enough credit, must less the ones who have paid the ultimate price for protecting our freedom.
I’m honored to have worked with John on this and being given the chance to tell the story.
 
I just received my issue of Blade Magazine. The first thing that I did was read Kevin's article. It was a fitting thing to read on the 9th anniversary of 9/11.

Robert was a true American hero. It is people like him who make our country great. He was truly an elite soldier who sacrificed all for our Country.

I Googled Robert's name and found an interesting PBS documentary about Robert and his family. It is well worth watching. Here is the link:

I want to thank Kevin for writing his story and the Horrigan family for their sacrifice.
