Here's one that's "doing the job" in Iraq, in the 101st airborne. Like the "Hooded Warrior" I posted earlier, it has a bit of the forward sweep reminiscent of a Khukri.
This "Horrocks" is a brute, with an 8.5" blade, made of .250" stock, bead blasted 440c Stainless. The hollow grind is both concave and convex on the knife, for multiple cutting and light chopping tasks. The top swage reduces the point cross section without sacrificing strength. The bolsters are nickel silver, the handle micarta. The handle melts into the hand, and stays locked there. The sheath is one of my military versions with double thick kydex over an aluminum frame with steel screws. The belt loops are both horizontal and vertical.
A serious, super sharp hollow ground primary edged weapon.
You can see more of my "Primary Edged Weapons" here.
Thanks for the look!
