Loyd Thomsen of Horsehead Creek Knives in Oelrichs, South Dakota makes his own Damascus steel for building his custom knives. See: http://www.horseheadcreekknives.com/

A good friend of mine commissioned Loyd to make a set of three matching knives, dubbed "The Three Amigos." One was for me, one for my dad, and one for him. This was completely out of the blue. The Damascus blades have the kaleidoscope pattern, and the handles are sheephorn with mosaic pins.

Anyway, I took photos of the knives this morning:

I will treasure the knife for as long as I live.

Being a folding knife collector, I personally LOVE small fixed-blade knives!
A matching set like these three beauties, with tastefully balanced proportions,
should be treasured for generations to come!

All the best,

Beautiful set of knives! Great concept, cool name, very well executed by Loyd. Also appreciate the fact that he gives a 10% discount to veterans, military, and NRA members. :)

Don't have one of his knives yet, but I most certainly will in the near future. Thank you for sharing!
