Just back from BladeForums very own STR.
If you don’t know his work I suggest you go take a look. I’m not sure if he realizes but he met his timeline by the day. He has a cool way of doing things. He updates you with pictures on his forum as your project is in the works. I really enjoyed working with him..

Great work. STR is a stand up guy.

Looks like .160" ... fuckin bank vault!

Thanks Jon. Glad you like it. I use .160 (that one is actually .163 as I recall if you want the precise measure) but the reason is that if you take a micrometer to the non lock side it measures out at about .150-.169 depending on the model at least on many of the ones I get here to work on. Usually the lock sides now are the thicker measure. Used to be on older thinner ones it was thinner. Bottom line is .160 just universally matches up best to how they come. This thickness therefore matches up to the original hardware allowing me to do them without having to shorten screws, barrels or anything else so no real 'permanent' changes are made to it.

Oh, I just posted up another Horseman and have another I'm working on on the bench that will be much like this one currently. Check out the ivory one in my blog and forum. Awesome! Even if I do say so myself. :D This model is fast becoming my favorite Emerson model. It really sits well with me.

That is great work. I've always thought .125" ti slabs were too thin for my liking.

Hey Gents,
I posted over on the STR site, so I won't repeat it all here, but I have to drop a note in here on STR's Horeseman conversion.

The ivory Horseman is mine.

Steve's work is awesome. He is WAY to modest, and does a darn fine folder.

Check out my post over at STR's Maker forum.
