Horseman or Snubby

I have been pondering lately which would be the 'better' choice of the two (as of course that is mainly subjective). I like the thick blade of the Snubby, but have not seen the Horseman's. If one has a thicker handle that the other, that would be helpful info as well. Any experience or general opinions of either of these would be great, and pics are always appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I think the choice comes down to blade length. The Stubby seems to be a compromise so people can meet blade length restrictions and yet still have a full-size grip. The Horseman is more of a general purpose knife with a longer blade in relative proportion to the handle size.

I would only choose the Snubby if I legally had to.

well i think you live in chicago, judging by the song, so i think the blade length limit there is 2.5 inches. so that really limits you options.

I do, and it isn't very easy to find knives that come in at about 2.5 inches that I really love. I do carry my Mini-grip as I have found that as long as you aren't being stupid, its not a big issue. I would not be able to carry the Horseman at all, as it is a much 'scarier' knife. However I would get it if the feel, fit/finish, or handle and blade thickness were substantially better/thicker on the Horseman.

spyderco cat, spyderco chicago, and you can "ghetto" wave them

as far as scale to scale thickness, you won't see much variation.

some of the "thick liner" models will be, of course, thicker. but in general all production emersons are the same thickness.
