Horseman Question

Does anyone know if some of the Horsemans were shipped with "Mini CQC-8" on the blade instead of "Horseman"?
 
Mine too. Come to think of it, I have not seen any marked Horseman. :confused: Does anyone have one marked Horseman?
 
They came shipped both ways. Mine is a 2008 model with a satin plain edge blade #056 and it says Horseman with no mention of Mini CQC8 anywhere.

If you just want to see some click the link to my blog bottom left of my posts and on page two I think about midway down you can find two or three I worked on for folks that have Horseman stamped on the blades.

When Emerson started making to stonewashed runs in 2009 the name was changed to "mini CQC-8". Before that they were all marked "Horseman". I think it was decided that more people preferred the use of "mini CQC-8" instead of "Horseman". I'm sure it will be "mini CQC-8" from now on. Same knife......only the name has changed. Although we all know the Horseman has always been a mini CQC-8.......it just wasn't labeled as such.
