Hi friends !! I want to show them one of the last jobs I did in 2014.
It is a Bowie with 1090 & 15n20 ladder pattern damascus blade.
Elephant ivory with horses scrimshaw for the handle. The guard, frame & front & rear bolsters in hand engraved 420 stainless, the spacers in copper.
Leather & hand engraved silver nickel for the scabbard.
Measures 11.9 for the blade, 17 overall.
Hope you like it !

Cristian, this Fine Art piece is absolutely exquisite. Your scrimshaw is truly exceptional and this 'museum quality' bowie is stunning in all it's detail!! WOW!!

have to agree with Robert -- an outstanding work of art exhibiting wonderful skills in a number of ways. Congrats!! a great addition to anyone's collection will this knife be.

Exceptional Bowie, demonstrating great skill.
Even thought I expect I'm in the extreme minority here, I would prefer it without the scrim.

Thanks friends !!
Kevin, This particular knife with another very similar were made by commission to the crown of Dubai. I probably would have done the same with other decoration on ivory or perhaps another design.
