horsewright Buck Knife Sheaths

You do know that he is a regular here, especially in the sheaths section.
So maybe the man himself will comment.

Ah sorry, didn't want to come off as smartass as that sounded, but yes, he does great work, hoping somebody will share pictures.

Wow, that's it for a Buck 110 sheath ?
He's a great guy and has loads of beautiful blades and leatherwork to show off over on the porch.

I love my 110 in it's factory sheath, but I didn't realize I could afford his work.

Yeah, he definitely does some nice work. But I happen to know of a guy that's in this forum a lot that does some great work himself :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I agree!

It's a shame we have so many "Craftsman / Service Provider" paid members here yet we still come up with links to non-member sales. Just sayin'...

If you are referring to the links in the original post, Dave has had a knifemaker/service provider membership on bladeforums for quite some time and takes the time to share a lot of his knowledge. If I misunderstood you I apologize

Sheath access and quality seems to be improving all the time. For a long number of years we have had forum/BCCI members who have crafted quality sheaths of their own design and your custom wants. That continues even today. Few days back I saw one here on the Buck forum that was as classy as they come. The link pictures also look well made.

If anyone is thinking they need a sheath or have carry issues, I would propose you take some time to do some searching, using search functions, on the Buck forum to get an idea of designs. An then you can find a craftsman that can meet your ideal or even attempt one yourself. For a collector, all the Buck sheaths that go with individual knives are a valuable asset but I seem to go to the 'other type' sheaths in my personal EDC knife.

The buck knives i carry when I can I keep the factory sheath new and used. Horsewright builds second to none sheaths. Thankfully I dont rely on Leatherwork for an income. lol. Its a hobby that I love. So much to learn. I will say if I dont like a sheath I have built I will toss it in the garbage. If someone receives a sheath that doesnt meet their expectations I will replace it. I surely appreciate everyone who has ordered one from me. Its great to see them out there.

A big thanks:thumbsup:
