OK, it wasn't a real cutting competion. It was the result of ''Chopping" through a case of bud and a sixer of tall boys just for ''special effects''. To make the scene more dramatic I warmed them up in the sun, for more pressure.

Wow! Awesome pics mang!!!

(not that we would expect any less from you! :D)

ETA: You got a permit for those guns Mike?? :)

If I had guns like that I would be afraid to adjust peoples necks,, it might end up lookin like a old Swartzineger movie,,

gun permit............Lol! ....those old Schwarzenegger movies are great.
.

When I went to the store, small corner store near my house, they didn't have any Bud Ice, so I stuck with the Bud theme anyway, in honor of the gimp.

Lol, The lady gave a description of a ''Gimp'' looking guy that cleans out the Bud Ice as soon as it's delivered. Damn Gimp anyway. I really wanted that Ice for my project!

Great stuff!

Can you give us some details on the photo process? Was the shooter just getting lucky on the shutter timing, or did you have an SLR firing repeatedly?

..

Thanks guys, it was a blast, literally!

Resin,.... DSLR, 10 frames per second, tripod mounted, pre-focused, remote release. The remote was triggered as I initiated the swing.

The first round was a dud due to cold beer. We heated it up in a sink full of hot water, huge difference.
One time we found part of a can 30 feet from ground zero!
