I took this up as my camp knife in Sylvania, MI this past week. It served me very well, and was not very heavy during the mile long portages. Sylvania is a beautiful place, and the fishing is amazing. My daughter caught a 20 inch largemouth. It was a beast. The dog had a blast as well. She was in the water as soon as I let her out of the tent in the morning, and was swimming on and off till nightfall. Now if only I could find a tool that will eliminate mosquitos! Thanks to Jerry, Jeremy, and the nice lady you traded me this great knife.

Nice pics. I agree, had my Skinny Ash done by Jeremy too. Holy smokes is it a sharp beast now, probably gonna hurt myself with it. Double cut, platinum edge, it's a keeper.

I pulled the handles, stripped and ground all the dimples out this was not a surface grind job, so it only lost minimal thickness,, double cut and gave her the Platinum Edge,, a very good camper,, awesome Mike,, glad you got to get out and play, with the fam,,

Came out great.

I just sent my Scroffie and FFBM to Jeremys compound for some treatment.

Yep all will be happy with Horton's work. He is reliable, honest, and up front. The Skinny as well as my NMSFNO that he modded are my favorite large Busses. The dog is good stuff too. Thanks for the compliments. She is reliable and trustworthy. It was tough to switch from the Pit Bull's I had for many years before, but Labs are great dogs (and they can handle the elements much more efficiently than pits). Unfortunately no pics on the bass...my daughter is still upset about it. My wife is a bit paranoid and was afraid we'd drop the camera in the water during the fishing session (despite the fact that we took a canoe to the site). But I couldn't argue too much with her. As it was, the trip was a gift from her as she is not a fan of remote lifestyles. BTW the knife is still scary sharp. I got bit when I was trying to take off some pine sap. Headin up to the Boundary Waters on Thursday. Hopefully I will have some more pics for y'all. Thanks again Jeremy.
