Just got this thing today. That goofy lookin lobe on the end of the handle really makes this knife what it is, I have to say.
Anyone who hasn't checked this thing out, should do so. It has all the ergonomics of the native, (in fact, side by side, the handles almost line up perfectly) but with a bit more belly for slicing, and the lobe makes it feel a bit more maneuverable, and gives pinky room the native almost, but didn't quite have. Lastly, the general blade shape makes for a natural thumb rest, without the pocket-eating machinework that the native blade has. I don't yet have the native III (it's on the way), but from what I've seen, it, too will still cause some wear on the old levi's...
