That is a nice bit of grinding that you have done there.

Here is another whose work keeps growing by leaps and bounds.
Nice looking job the blade looks very clean and I especially like the handle contours.

Keep 'em coming Bob.

Nice lookin' knife.

How about some stats? Size, materials?

Blues

7 3/4" blade made from 1/4" 5160.
Has been edge quenched and tripple progressive tempered.
12 1/2" OAL
Handle is solid block of Black linen micarta
with 416 pins. A 1/2" wide tang goes 3/4 of the way thru the handle. Attached using the pins and K&G 24hr epoxy.
Yea it is a heafty one HOWEVER it is balanced and I for one wouldn't hesitate to carry this one!

Thanks, Robert. That puts it in perspective.

Sounds (and looks) like a great, versatile knife.

I like the pin-work. It's both decorative and grippy. Well done!

Are you forging your 5160 or is it a stock-removal blade?

A nice leather sheath with that Blade - Kydex would be just "too tactical"

Regards,

Ed
