I have been making knives as a hobby for a couple of years. Mostly junk nothing close to what I would want to sell with my name on it. I am a merchant marine and I have a "sailors knife" that somebody told me I should try to sell to a company as a safety award type thing. It is about 14 inches overall to work with 2inch rope that the industry uses regularly. (I will try to include a picture with a tape measure for reference and my good ole damascus hunter, but I've never done this before so it may take an edit or 3) .I Probably would need to do some laser engraving with the company name or logo. The blade came from a Paki supplier and it is 420J2 I can make these for about $5.50.
:confused: So, my question to the experts is what should I retail it at?
