Out of curiosity and boredom I tallied up the offerings (duplicates not accounted for). Is Busse's gonna sell 44 thousand dollars worth of infi in one hour? If so thats some serious khrem!

I would say more. But most of that will not be profit. There is a lot of overhead that goes into making those things. Labor, mortgage, insurance, material, processing, etc. etc. all have to be taken into consideration. Will they make $44k in profit in one hour? I suppose it's possible. I don't think Jerry's kids are going to go hungry.

I'm not suggesting it's all profit, i'm merely stating that thats an ass load of product to move in--as Rat Finkenstine pointed out--10 minutes.

Sorry Sketchbag, I didn't mean to imply anything. It does seem that Busse does sell a heck of a lot of knives. But they have to bust their humps for $44k! In any given week, I'll design well over $44,000 of carpet in a day. Several times I've designed custom carpet that has sold for well over a million dollars (the carpet in the MGM Grand casino, for example) All of this with considerably less fuss and excitement than what Jerry does to move his product. To put things into perspective, if a Mercedes dealer sells a single car, that's well over $44,000!

Jerry seems to be cleaning up right now, as well he should! If any company deserves to be doing well, it's Busse. But the knife industry has a very small market, relatively speaking. There are very few industries where you can pretty easily meet the owner of one of the most prestigious companies, and buy him a drink. That's part of what makes knife collecting so special.

Ain't THAT the truth!! As a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with Jerry... Asked him if I were to take one of everything, would he take my order email now... He said yes, but that I'd have to break the news to the Forum. How could I say no??? NO PROBLEM!!!

So... Now the Ganza name has changed to:
