Finally completed the wiring in my barn workshop. Sometime in the last 2 years I marked all the circuits. Must have been tired. 2 were switched and mismarked apparently. Started to strip the wire and ZAP:eek: ! Never even felt a tingle on that one. Warrenty cover stupidity? Can't live with the hole in such an inconvenient part of the blade.

are you condoneing electrical work with a 110?
I know I would :D

All noted. Perhaps I will just work it out and eventually add it to the ever growing pile. Just sort of early in the gradual destruction for such a thing.

Maybe I could do it several more times and make it serrated.....

Make a wall plaque out of it and hang it in you house!

Many years ago an old family freind melted the end of a screwdriver working on an appliance, and shocked the crap out of himself in the process.

His wife and kids later had the melted screwdriver bronzed and made a plaque for his birthday...it was a great conversation piece for many years!

Looks like you have a custom wire stripper notch in that heavy duty 110 :p

I'd keep it for further electrical jobs around the barn :D

Glad to hear that the electricity only got your attention.

Could go ahead and grind it down into a "Gut Hook".

(...oh I like this guy, the name of his state and his ideas...a born "tinkerer"...:p ... ) ...Welcome to the Buck forum pkdmslf...Our "official greeter" ( Chickentrax ) will be along shortly with the "official" greeting...

He's been here awhile, DarrylS...No introduction needed! :D

But we need to wean him away from those Spyderco and Chris Reeves Forums...

...Oh No!!!  ...That "Spyderco and CR" syndrome:D ...Yep...We're gonna have to work on that Trax... :p

Oh no! That means I need to be in therapy too. Love them Spydies and CRKs.

As some of you know, I'm awaiting delivery on my first custom 110...can't wait. I'm actually more excited about it than I've ever been about the other knives I have.

:)

Then you are about to have the most exciting four weeks of your life! :D ...or maybe five...or six...

Alternate thread title: 110 vs 110VAC :D

Aww! Man..... Didn't think of that title. That was my 06 Idaho I just bought last year. Right now I am carrying an older blade. That custom wire stripper is poorly placed. Unlike the half moon I fractured at the base of another blade cutting some chicken wire to free a kitten.

If it will make you feel any better, we get a few knives like that every year. some with multiple burns. Possibly going for a serrated blade?
Its a $10 charge for a new blade though. We will install the new blade and buff up the knife.
Aparently, the 110 is just long enough so that in the open position, you can touch both the positive and negative terminal of your car battery. We get a few in from folks trying that little experiment to. :)
