Hot

I spent about a half hour in Larry Nowickis shop while he gave me a crash course in knife making. The temp was pretty bad in his shop. With the temps in the 90's this week in B-more, I can't begin to imagine how much hell he must be going through.
 
Officially hit 94 at the airport today, but my back yard thermometer showed 107 in the sun! :eek:
 
It has been extremely pleasant in my area of SO Cal for the last couple weeks. Not particularly hot.
 
Well Dan its been about 94 today here in the state of Indiana with the heat index puts it about 99. My shop was about 120 til I turn the air on. Have a great day --------:yawn:
 
92 and nice humidity for those non climate controlled garages in Tampa. The rain we got for 2 days straight helped though (?), supposedly we need it.
 
Today it's inly 90 but muggier than heck. In the last 2 weeks it has been up to 113, miostly hanging around 100-103. That's in So Oregon, a half hour out in the sticks from Grants Pass.

It's been hot...damned hot. I believe our local weather station is broken too. It says 89 and 33% humidity right now...it's definitely hotter and more wet than that. It was so hot today that I just couldn't bring myself to go out into the shop.

Yall think that 89 is hot? 89 is comfy. I don't know what the temp has been down here in Texas but it's nice.

today it's cooled down some and the humidity is a lot better we've seen the 90's

when my son got back from AZ on the first he said it was cooler there :D

Robert I wonder if the lions might be waiting for a little side meal too :D

and then yesterday it blew and blew and blew- delta "breeze" at 20knots all day, didn't get a durned thing done for all the hiking and laying in the park.

and now, 67 degrees at noon! in august! in Davis!
 
Well, the temp reached around 97 here today with a heat index of 107.

I couldn't stand it any longer....soooooooooo....... I went and bought myself a "window-shaker" air conditioner. Since I work out of my garage, I will only use it on the hottest of days. (Anything above 95)

Right now it is as hot as 4-square-yards-of-hell outside, and the humidity is just below pure water, but me old garage is tickin' along at 79 degrees. This is after only about 3 hours of runnin' the new A/C.
