I kinda like the shape of the Hound's tooth, what is the closed length?
Thanks, Dave
Now, there's a great mail day!
Dave, if and when you can, could you please take a picture of these two knives side-by-side with their frames oriented exactly the same way? I realize that means one of the knives won't be in its "proper" orientation, but I'd like to better visualize how these two patterns make use of the same frame, compare their closed profiles, etc.
Thanks!

Sarah, you really should apply for a position at GEC. You think the same way they do.Does anybody know which knife the wharncliffe comes from? Would it perchance be the same blade as in our BF knife? See, Sarah, we need an insider to keep us up on all of this.
Mine just came in too! Is it just me, or were there very few of these produced (non-lock redbone)? It seems they disappeared from dealers rather quickly. AKADAVE, I've got the same pair (well, my Gepetto is a Half-Whit), and didn't see the similarity til you posted 'em. I have to say, I really prefer the set-up with the main on the thin end. Much more aesthetic to my hand and eyes. How's the jigging on yours? My finger tips found some small sharp snags/chips in the jigging. No biggie at all, and took some 600 grit to it and all's well : )

I really like that Hounds Tooth. I'd like one with a pen blade in addition to the Wharncliffe....
Ok more pics. I just realized that both frames are the SAME!
The Geppetto is serialized which I didnt want but it was all they had. Its #8 of 25! and a PPP to boot! Makes me more reluctant to use it, thats why I wanted an unmarked knife but oh well!
