Been watching way too many martial arts films of late and got the bug to make a short sword. Here's one I came up with that fits the role of something to grab at home for those pesky bumps in the night The handle is big enough for two hands and the blade is short enough for hallway practice. It is 24 5/16 overall with a 15 3/8 blade. I used 1/4in thick 5160 for the blade but the full flat grinds lighten it up a bit for a nice balanced feel(at least to me). Sits evenly on my index finger just behind the bevel shoulders. Black G10 and stainless screws make up the handle materials. Also the tang has been lightened a bit with six 1/2in holes. I call it a House Sword as it mates up nicely to my House Gun. Who knows might be the start of a whole new trend! Of course it could also fill in for zombie attacks too
