Good day all,
I’m a US expatriate contract project manager working overseas for the past 8 years or so. Well my contracts are up and it is finally time to come home. The problem is that now my contract firm and the client firm are all standing around wringing their hand saying “oh my oh my, who pays for the demobilization” and some additional compensations I am due. I am very concerned that I’ll be left stranded overseas by these firms. Of course it does not help any that I work in Brazil and “Jeitinho Brasileiro” or “the Brazilian Way” is hard at work here. If any of you guys or gals might be able to help or know a good Houston attorney, shoot me an email at
Fortunatly all involved pulled their heads out and are making good on all ends. $500.00 and 5 five letters later(I got reimbursted for the $500.00 big misunderstanding BLAH BLAH BLAH yea right). Knuckle Heads, never agian do contract work with a Brazilian firm.
I’m not looking for pro bono work.
Thanks,
Steve
