How about a firearms & accessories gear section?

Lately the general Gear for Sale section has been overrun by firearms and related.

It used to be nice mixture of survival gear/packs, watches. other small tech pieces, knife sharpeners. scales, custom sheaths.
All kinds of interesting things.

Lately all things firearms are dominating the pages.

Thats ok...there's obviously a need to have a place for them...but could it be separated from the general gear section?

...or how about not discussing firearms and related equipment at all? This is a knife forum, not a gun forum. If you want to talk and read about guns, go to a gun forum.

He's talking about the for sale section, not the discussion section.

I looked today and it seemed that there were 5 threads on the front page dealing with firearms gear and similar on later pages. If that sort of thing continues to pick up, we'll create a separate subforum for gun stuff for sale.

I looked just now and there's 6 on the front page as I type. Like I said, not a big deal but I frequent that Gear for Sale/Trade areas alot and it seems to be a growing trend.

Heck, it may be something the gun lovers appreciate...having their own exchange playground.

I think it will grow. Lot of gun discussion threads now, would feed into a sale forum.
