How about a Medium Sebenza?

Every now and then, I see people asking/begging for a big, honkin Sebenza. People are asking for something bigger than the current Large model. My question is, can we get a Medium Sebenza? I carry and use a Small regular Sebbie everyday, and have a Large Classic at home. What would be nice, is something in between. Blade right at 3" for legal reasons, with the handle to be a little longer than the current Small. C'mon Chris, how about it? It even sounds good. Small, Medium, Large. :)

Thinking of Mcdonald's Danbo? Are you going to want one Supersized next? :D

I agree. A 3" blade would be too close to the 2.875" blade on the small Sebbie to have any kind of impact on the market.

I'd by a Sebenza with a 3 1/4" blade in a heartbeat. Years ago I bought a large, thought it to be too large and sold it. Then bought a small, thought it too small and sold it as well. I now have two large woodies, one small woody and a small Pheasant Tail. A 3 1/4" blade would be a great "in between".

Hey you good folks at CRK. What's the chance of the above discussed knife actually coming to fruition? It would seem to be a logical step in the evolution of the Sebenza.

I just would like to have one between my other Reeves

Maybe it is possible in the future.

well, I'm a great fan of thee regular (small) sebenza. I'd really love to have a CRK knife that is smaller. But on the umfaan and the mnandi the thickness of the components shrank as well, which totally changes the feel for me.

What I like is an umfaan size but with the same thickness handles/blade.

Hi PWork

You´re right.
Im searching since a long time for an Unfaan with an unique design, wich is approximately like my unique small sebenza:

But i still haven´t found what i´m looking for.

I think a 3.25 blade would be great, the large sebenza seems abnormally large for something with a 3.5" blade.

A medium 3.25" would be good, I like my Large Classic but it still gets stares from the sheeple.
Although, I'd also like to see a 5.5" blade like the Cuda Maxx ;)
A big honkin' wood inlay sebenza would rock.

A medium would be nice but I wouldn't hold my breath for a 3.25 inch Sebenza. Chris has his line up and I don't think that it will change. If you want a 3.25 blade you need to go to a custom maker. I have a nice Obenauf but it's not as nice as my Sebenzas.

I hear what you're saying about Chris' line up Scott. As well as what you said about getting another knife with a 3.25" blade, but it's not so much that I want a 3.25" knife. It's that I want a 3.25" Sebbie. As you stated, nothing else quite measures up.

I really don't see the need for an in between Sebenza but I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to buy one. I do believe there would be a market for the 3 1/4 in. blade size.

Since I've got an Umfaan, my small sebbie is my medium.:) :D I'd take a picture of the three together but my Umfaan is at CRK for a tune up. I hope to have it back in a week or so.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'd love a 3 1/4" Sebenza!
It would be the perfect compromise between the large and small models. If a medium Sebenza were ever made, I'd be forced to buy 3 or 4 of them.

I'd buy a 3 1/4" Sebenza in a heartbeat. Like others have said, the Large seems/looks larger than a 3.5" blade and the small just doesn't fit my hand. Build it and we will buy it....

Please.
