How about a NR-40?

What a great article and a really cool idea. I bet you can find a bit of Finn knife heritage in
some Rosarms knives already like the Bayonet or Fox2.

I would definitely be interested in a design like that and other knives that pay tribute to Russia's heritage. One of the things I and a lot of people like about Rosarms is the fact they are made in Russia. Even when the Soviet union was our enemy we always had a lot of respect for their abilities and skills and now people in Russia are starting to take real pride in their heritage.

Thanks for the link MacGregor ,have you got a Rosarms knife yet?

I see Kancler edited my post to add some info.

Glad to here you make one, looks like a good solid design for fighting and around the camp.

Since i spend a lot of time scrwwing around on Russian language knife sites i found another couple interesting knives from a company other than Rosarms that looks like it gets it's knives from the same armoury in Zatloust. Check out some of the cool NR-40s they have.

I really like thos dangler sheaths for knives this size (hint hint:D)
I love the birch handles ,they feel fantastic and are very light. They probably even float.

I also like the hammer and sickle logo. If you have any info on these Kankler i would be very interested. At the very least it looks like a popular pattern. There is even an article on these ones in Tactical knives which may have to change it's name to "We love russian tactical knives"!

A final wood one.
