Hi Anne and Chris,
I asked this before on knifeforum but I wanted to ask again. I have heard all the wonderful things about Sebenza's and I really want one. But the only thing is I dont find the thumb stud that easy to open. I prefer a hole or a thumb wheel. I think the sebenza is a great design and it would not be hard to incorporate a thumb wheel on top instead of a stud. So could you please make one just for me. I am willing to pay more for it. Please.

We will not put a hole or disc on a Sebenza because, after looking at both styles, we have designed what we consider the most efficient thumblug. The difficulty that you experience is probably due to you not fully understanding the difference between our knives and those of other companies/makers.

The technique for opening and closing is slightly different. Because there is no handle scale behind the lock, pressure from your index finger must not be applied there. Hold the knife, supported with your pinky, ring and middle fingers under the lock slot and your index finger on the back of the pivot. Using an outward, sweeping motion, and with your thumb on the side of the lug, move the blade open. The thumb stud travels through an arc around the pivot – and there should be no downward pressure applied.
