How about a Passaround forum?

What do you think? I think a passaround forum would be awesome!

That way, everyone could keep up to speed with a passaround without having to bump a thread in the Blade Discussion Forum all the time. Plus, with all the passarounds going on, it would make keeping everything straight even easier!

I know I would love it, and I'm sure many others would too! Thanks in advance!

This ones got my vote Spark. I think its a great idea and if it wouldn't cause you to much trouble, I know allot of people would appricate it

I'm mixed about this. There would be certain advantages to making a separate forum, as already mentioned. There are also some disadvantages.

My primary concern is that you would split off a group and the general forum would become less diverese. I think there is a certain diversity that keeps forums self substaining, kind of like cross pollination.

If you look at that other knife forum, they have a bazillion forums. None of them have enough participant size in each to generate much activity.

I like the idea of keeping it in the mainstream/General Knife Discussion, it gets more exposure to a more diverse group of people, also more people are apt to view it in the GKD, cause a lot more lurkers/would be posters would see it and tempted to sign on and comment.

It would be nice to have an archive where you could go to one point and read the passaround reviews.

Hmmm...you guys make some good points...

Maybe an archive for completed passarounds would be a better idea.
